Basic terms

The scholarship will be provided only to the qualified applicants.

The scholarship helps to reduce the programme fee of our online as well as regular programmes.

In order to avail the scholarship, the applicant should be an Indian citizen and should be an inhabitant of any of the SIGEE Scholarship Zone with permanent address proof.

The age of the applicant should be above 18 and below 49 years.

The applicant must be pursuing or graduated from any degree (UG/PG) programme from a UGC recognized institution.

There is no gender limitation for this scholarship.

Special considerations will be given for that applicant who has a mother as the family lead.

The scholarship contains two components namely state specific and family income specific. The first component provides a state specific fee reduction opportunity and the second component comprises family income specific fee reduction opportunity.

The applicant shall be eligible for a state specific scholarship component by submitting valid proofs related to their permanent address mentioning the state/union territory name. The applicant can improve his/her eligibility for the family income specific fee reduction by producing any valid income certificate approved by the government body.

For online programmes, the state specific scholarship shall be a maximum of 33% and family income specific additional scholarship shall be a maximum of 15%.

For regular programmes, the state specific scholarship shall be a maximum of 15% and family income specific additional scholarship shall be a maximum of 15%.

The fee reduction through this scholarship shall not be applicable for any add on services.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Step 1: Apply for a programme.
Step 2: Attend the verification call from our counsellor.
Step 3: If the admission is granted for your application, you can seek your counsellor to guide you in filling a scholarship request if you are an inhabitant of any of the SIGEE scholarship zone.
