It is the product of a variety of branches of biology including cell biology, biochemistry, chemistry, material science, molecular biology, engineering, medicine etc. Enormous progress has been achieved in the field which involves tissue culturing, 3D printing, bioscaffold development, and cell niche mimicking etc., Tissue engineering research has a wide scope of research and holds many promises in the advancement of newer technologies in the life science field.
