Research and development is the fundamental requirement for every academia and industry. Research and its outcomes keep improving life continually over several centuries. Young learners from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes need to perform research work as part of their curriculum. However, a lack of expertise and funds restricts them from performing innovative research during their curriculum.
We, BioLim, provide a variety of research based programmes where the learners can join, learn and perform research individually or in a cluster. Our offline research facility lies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Learners who join this research programme travel and stay in Chennai throughout the research period. We understand that this longer stay is making them spend more on accommodation, inner-city travel and food expenses. On understanding the prevailing issues for non- Chennai residents, we have come up with this smart research programme which is operated in hybrid mode.
We all know that research requires both theoretical and practical parts to produce quality results. On the basis of this, we have your research period in three parts.
- Part 1: You can do your research preparatory work in our cloud portal with mentor assistance.
- Part 2: You can visit our laboratory in Chennai to execute your research experiments (as planned in part 1 online works) in a shorter period (8 to 15 days) with extended lab access (8 to 10 hours per day) along with our staff support.
- Part 3: You can go back to your place and connect with the mentors through BioLim cloud to compile results, analyse results, document outcomes and write a thesis.
Through this process and with dedicated research preparation prior, our participants can finish the UG/PG research project at a much lesser cost.

Eligibility
- The applicant should be a citizen of India.
- The applicant should have or pursuing a degree in the stream of science and technology in any government-approved institution/college/university.
- The age of the applicant should have been 18 years on the joining date.
- The age of the applicant should not exceed 49 at the time of joining.
