The following programme was helpful as I got an insight to the microbial QC in the food industry. Food industry is a vast industry and quality control is yet another important department in the food industry. Being an internee in this programme helped me understand the various layers to the microbial food QC in the food industry. Being a microbiology student, many of the terms like plating, counting were common to me but the lab maintenance, different media preparations and use, etc. were few of the many new things that I learned through this internship programme.
