My name is Pankaj Tasa and I have done graduation in Zoology (Major) and post-graduation in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. I have done my specialization in CADD (Computer Aided Drug Discovery). I have a keen interest in Cancer Biotechnology which is why I chose to seek an internship in cancer biotechnology through this platform. My career goal is to become a Research Scientist. As for the internship program, I found it very informative and challenging, as there was a lot of information which was new to me. This eventually boosted my confidence in getting more inclined towards my goal of becoming a Research Scientist. The study materials were very informative and concise which made understanding of the subject a bit easy. Few challenges I faced were: Data analysis, especially from techniques like genomics or proteomics, can be overwhelming. Also, time management skills are very necessary for such programs. The outcomes and benefits I achieved during this internship were: exposure to cutting-edge research, skill development and career explorations. I'd like to convey my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful chance to participate in BioLim's cancer biotechnology internship programme. This experience has been transforming and enriching in ways I never expected. I am grateful to you and the entire research team for your advice and mentoring. Your skill, kindness, and desire to share information have all aided my development as an aspiring cancer biologist. Working on pioneering research projects has all enhanced my love for cancer research.
