The Biolim Pre-industrial Internship programme for the Pharmaceutical Biotechnologist role was a highly enriching and well-structured learning experience. The programme offered comprehensive theoretical insights combined with virtual exposure to key biotechnological concepts and laboratory practices. I gained in-depth understanding of microbial, plant and animal biotechnology, along with essential skills like in bioprocessing, reagent preparation, sterilization, and laboratory management. The modules also covered critical aspects like GMP, GLP, biosafety regulations, and data analysis, which are vital for industry readiness. The internship bridged the gap between academic knowledge and industrial expectations, and helped me develop a more professional and research-oriented mindset.
