We, BioLim, are conducting a series of industry relevant technical skill development training in both online and offline environments in collaboration with our industrial partners. One such programmes named Hands-on training on nanocoating for blood repellent medical devices has been recently conducted in collaboration with an industry partner, TRUE AMIGO labs, KK Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This two days compact hands-on training programme benefited nearly 16 young participants in life science and engineering domain.
Nanotechnology can provide excellent scope for developing special hydrophobic materials that can be used in biomedical applications. This two day training programme has taken the participants to a world on nano hydrophobicity. This short video gives a small glimpse of the demo product developed in the training programme.
Some of the feedback given by the participants
The program provided insights on how to start a research and struggles that are to be faced in developing the product that we are working on. This program gave an idea on various branches through which we can pursue our ideas. It was also a great experience to look at the instrument that we haven't used before. It was really good and I'm looking forward to spending more time exploring nanotechnology.

The faculties were calm and friendly. I learnt new stuff about nanotechnology. I realise the importance of Nano in the growing tech era. I will try to implement these experiences as knowledge in my future research. It was a pleasure to learn about new machines and their mechanisms. I developed my skill personally and professionally. It was a great experience on a new topic that I had no idea about. I hope this information is very helpful for my career as an aspiring student. The overall experience was good.
