We, BioLim, with essential social internship have launched the apprenticeship programme under our corporate social responsibility initiatives.

As we provide a range of professional skill development programmes in the domain of life science and allied sectors, we feel it is our responsibility to provide essential preliminary job exposure for some of the best learners based on their merit and skill basis.

This apprenticeship provides a valuable limited working period opportunity for our learners post their learning period at BioLim. We believe this initiative could provide additional scope to their career development process. We provide this opportunity for our learners from developing nations to increase their industrial working experience which will give them competitive momentum in the real life work environment.

Features

  • The apprenticeship is provided in both online and offline ways.
  • A fixed stipend will be provided throughout the apprenticeship period.
  • The apprentice will be given the opportunity to work in BioLim and also in any of our other partnering organisations.
  • Experience certificate will be provided at the successful completion of the apprenticeship period.
  • The apprenticeship period will be a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. It can be extended based on mutual interests.

Terms

  • Currently the scope of apprenticeship is limited to BioLim Alumni and for the learners from any of our academic club institutions.
  • The candidate should be of age 21 at the time of joining the apprenticeship.
  • The entire recruitment process for the apprenticeship is purely based on the internal regulatory policies of BioLim as well as the partnering organisations. Candidates shall be shortlisted through online examination whenever there is a requirement to scrutinize a large number of applications. Final selection shall be based on an online video interview.
  • Mere filling of the application for the apprenticeship programme, does not guarantee the award of the apprenticeship.
  • We do not have any third party agents for this apprenticeship process.
  • We do not charge any kind of fee or charges for this apprenticeship application.
  • Further job providence following the apprenticeship may be possible, however, it is subjected to the performance of the apprentice, interest of the organisation's HR desk and availability of openings at the time of apprenticeship completion etc.
  • The stipend will be fixed based on the number of working hours and days the apprentice required to work on a monthly basis. The stipend will be regulated based on the Indian law governing apprentice wages, Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • The candidates will be provided with exact job responsibilities at the time of recruitment process and they will be expected to fulfil the responsibilities during their tenure abiding the regulations of the organisation they are appointed with.
  • Stipend will be released on a monthly basis.
  • The certification will be provided only on the successful completion of the apprenticeship.
  • The applicant may be asked to submit proof of identity, proof of address and an endorsement letter at the time of joining.

Important dates:

  • The recruitment for apprenticeship will be conducted twice a year.
  • The phase 1 recruitment shall be conducted in the month of February every year. The applications for this recruitment phase shall be accepted from the month of August to January every year. Students from our academic club institutions shall be given priority in this recruitment phase.
  • The phase 2 recruitment shall be conducted in the month of August every year. The applications for this recruitment phase shall be accepted from the month of February to July every year. BioLim alumni will be given priority in this phase.
