This was a program I took up with self-interest as I was heading into my second year and would have to encounter several microbiology classes. I was unsure if I had an interest in the subject and how difficult the lab was going to be, however, post this internship I have solidified my interest. I am a hundred percent sure that I will be pursuing Microbiology courses. I have thoroughly learned so much in the lab over the one week ranging from the preliminary tests to the more advanced ones. I have got a good glimpse of the life of a Microbiologist. Most importantly I had loads of fun during the internship which I will foster during my learning in the future.
